Title Sequences that inspire me ! ; Jorge Calvo's Buried Sequence

I like this sequence because I found it intriguing, unique and graphical. I loved the use of different materials, textures and layers this is an example of a discrete title sequence with a difference even though the sequence does not relate to the narrative of the film it is still effective. Calvo's sequence appears to be like a collage, but at the same time it has this digital, high definition feel to it. It is almost as if he cut and glued different textures onto paper and then scanned them into Photoshop, His work is very Similar to Saul Bass. The sequence itself contains a orchestral crescendo and keeps you entertained throughout.
