We have finally completed our rough cut. The rough cut is a sample of what the finished product will look like.
What I think worked well:
I think the strongest parts of the clip come at the beginning and ending. The beginning is very stylish and eye catching while the ending is fast paced and this builds anticipation and anxiety. When creating the film my vision was to make the beginning and ending the stand out interesting parts of the opening. I feel this is effective as the audience firstly becomes interested and involved in the scenes if they are immediately striking. The strong start grabs attention and the strong ending makes them anticipate what will happen later and leave them will a feeling of apprehension.
What we need to do:
We need to add credits to the clip. The order of credits has been finalised the font has been chosen but we need to create them and place them in the time of our opening sequence.
The next thing we need to do is add a soundtrack. The sound track can build nervousness within the audience and outline the mood and tone of a scene within the clip.
