The media institutions that we used to distribute our thriller film was ‘CandiStudios' and 'Candiproductions', two, small, independent production companies. Independent, produced, movies, are different to mainstream films being that they have a specific style. The reason why we chose this route, is because we had a relatively low budget and we did not have any connections with any major production studio, to help with the financing of the film. By choosing to distribute our thriller independently, our vision was not changed, however we had to compromise our marketing strategy.
